MRI Scans

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans use magnetic fields and radio waves to assess the brain, spine, joints or internal organs. In most cases, this painless procedure only takes 30 minutes to an hour and can detect early signs of disease or injuries.

CT Scans

Computed tomography (CT) scans are x-ray imaging designed to produce cross-sectional images of the internal systems of the body. CT scans are most often used in emergency situations to quickly diagnose problems such as head injuries, bone disorders and blood clot locations.

Ultrasounds

Ultrasounds can create internal images of the body using sound waves instead of radiation. These are done externally using a handheld transducer over the skin. While they are most often used for pregnancies, ultrasounds can also examine many places in the body like the heart, liver, thyroid, gallbladder, pancreas, bladder, muscles and joints.

X-Rays

X-rays have been in medical imaging for years, one of the first technologies to allow professionals to diagnose, treat and monitor conditions without requiring surgery. X-rays can focus on the whole body or one specific area, including bones, the chest, mouth, abdomen, hands and joints.

MR Prostate

An MR prostate exam uses technology similar to an MRI to detect if cancer is present in the prostate gland. MR prostate scans can also determine the cancer’s aggression, leading clinicians to make informed decisions on available treatment routes.
